Audio Description

Nevero is Susanne Verberk and Pascal Govaert’s language services company. Our goal is to make art and culture, in the broadest sense, accessible to those who cannot see (well). We do this using audio description. This is a technique in which an extra narrative voice is added to, for example, an (online) video, TV programme or film. Between dialogues and important background sounds, the narrator describes what appears on screen. 

Audio description can also be used for live events. The audio describer is present during the event and provides live commentary. Finally, more and more museums have an adapted audio guide that can be used for blind and visually impaired visitors.
